How we got involved
Bull afternoon bias. BANC appeared as a liquid gainer / continuation candidate midday without a full Tier-A stack.
Decision and outcome
Entered long. Price moved against the plan into the MAE cut. Desk marked skip today for any afternoon re-entry.
Afternoon context
Later scanners still showed BANC. Technical gates could look passable. The re-entry ban still won. That is the point of writing the ban while calm.
Lesson
A midday loss without Tier-A quality does not get a revenge second try the same day.
